FUN FROGS
Handforth - Nursery
Tadpoles - 0 - 18 months
The tadpoles room caters for children from 0 - 18 months of age. We have up to 6 children in the room with two members of staff at a 1:3 ratio.
We plan a variety of activities and experiences which follow all areas of the EYES particularly the prime areas; Personal social and emotional development, physical development and communication and language, as well as allowing lots of free play where activities are child-led.
The children love songs and rhymes with lots of actions, messy play is a favourite too, with things such as sand, water, gloop and paint.
We love to get outside in the garden with the children and practice walking and encouraging them to get moving.

Froglets - 18 months - 2 years

In the froglets room, we offer a loving home environment for children aged 18 months to 2 years. With a small class of up to 6 children per day, children grow and develop within the setting. Children benefit from a large outdoor area and get to explore the outdoors daily. Healthy meals, snacks and drinks are offered and all children’s needs are catered for. There is always lots to learn in the Froglets Room with tailored activities and games our Froglets are always busy and having fun!
Frogs - Toddler 2-3 years

In the frog's room, we accommodate up to 12 children aged 2-3years. Children enjoy a wide range of activities all linked to the EYES for the best fun learning outcome. It’s always a busy time in the Frogs room with toilet training, learning important social skills and improving our table manners but most importantly having lots of messy fun. The children have direct access to the outdoor area and benefit from lots of outdoor activities. All children have a key worker assigned to them.
Toads - Preschool 3 - 5 years
Fun Frogs has its very own self-contained preschool unit known as The School House. The schoolhouse is made up of 2 classrooms accommodating up to 16 children per classroom, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, staff toilet and entrance area. Both classrooms benefit from their own outdoor area with direct access from the classroom.
In our School House (ages 3-4/5) we focus on getting the children “school ready”, The rooms are set up into areas and managed by a medalling system offering the children a wide range of learning opportunities. Children proudly wear our fun frogs uniform getting them ready for school and giving them a good sense of belonging to a team.
We offer a range of sessions which can be fully coved by the government funding including mornings, afternoons, full days and school days.
